A story about Buzz Aldrin
I met him at the 24th Space Symposium. I asked if I could shake his hand and he gave me a hug.

I met her at the 24th Space Symposium after the Hall of Fame dinner. She is a lovely woman.
When he did a retrospective at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center in 2006 I had the chance to hear him speak and to meet him. What an incredible artist!
At a lecture he gave at Brookhaven Jr. College in Farmer’s Branch (a suburb of Dallas) Texas in March 1983. He’d spent some time with students earlier in the evening.
Fascinating!
I met him after a speech at the Space Symposium in 2007. Great speaker! Wonderful man! Brilliant and exiting!
I met him again after a speech at the Space Symposium in 2008. Again, wonderful speech. I highly respect this man.
I’ve had the pleasure to see him after several theatrical productions he was in at the stage door. While not enough time to do more than get autographs or pictures, from what I’ve seen of the man, he is genuinely kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent, and authentic. Each person walks away feeling that for that brief moment there was a connection…not long term certainly…but in that moment, it is real. Quite wonderful.
